Looking forward to Q4

It’s been an eventful summer, here in the UK. As the Olympics and Paralympics move on from London, at Darren Evans Assessments we’re looking forward to an innovative and exciting final quarter of the year. Here are some of the projects we’ll be working on.

The Green Deal

We are proud to announce that we have been working to test Green Deal procedures with NICEIC, the UK’s leading independent voluntary organisation for the electrical contracting industry. We will be the first company to be approved as Green Deal assessors with NICEIC, and we’re eager to see the Deal in action later this year. We believe it will make a significant difference to families and businesses struggling to be more energy efficient in a difficult economic climate.

We’re working to establish a UK-wide network of assessors and installers, to help customers all over the country have access to the Green Deal. If your customers could benefit from the Green Deal, or you’re interested in working under our banner, please call us on 01454 317940, or email  greendeal@darren-evans.co.uk.

Partnership with Celotex

We are currently the only energy assessment and sustainability company to partner with Celotex, the UK’s market leader for PIR thermal insulation. We are able to offer their customers advice on sustainability, be on hand to answer questions, and carry out Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) and BREEAM assessments where required. We also continue to work with Celotex to make the building process more efficient.

Thermal Modelling

Building a domestic property? Darren Evans Assessments can now provide an integrated solution to achieve a CSH Level 3 rating without the use of renewables. Not only will this reduce the build cost by thousands of pounds – a crucial advantage in an uncertain economy – but the building itself will be significantly more efficient. Contact us on 01454 317940 to find out more.

Any Questions?

We’d like to provide a regular Q&A service here on our blog, to help answer your queries on energy efficiency and sustainability issues. If you have questions about assessments, construction, legislation or any of our services, please send an email to twitter@darren-evans.co.uk. We’d love to hear from you.
