With the launch of the Green Deal last month, we’ve been fielding a high volume of calls and enquiries at Darren Evans Assessments. We’re delighted that so many of our customers want to participate in and become beneficiaries of the Green Deal. We hope it will help many properties around the UK become more energy efficient.
To answer the most frequently asked question we’ve received: while the Government has launched and publicised the Green Deal, several key processes have not yet been finalised. The software required to log Green Deal Assessment Reports has not yet been completed, and the financial packages to fund the Deal are not yet in place. This means that although we’re keen to pass Green Deal benefits on to our customers, at the moment we’re unable to do so. We hope that this will change as soon as possible, but we can only wait for news from the governing body behind the Green Deal.
